Community Crime Prevention and Intervention Services

Strengthening, Empowering and Engaging the Community to Keep Safe 

The Jacksonville Urban League is committed to reducing crimes in Jacksonville focusing on Prevention as a long-term strategy.  

  • Prevention – reducing factors associated with at-risk behaviors and strengthening protective factors.

  • Intervention – focus on individuals already engaged in at-risk behaviors.

Youth Development 

The JUL Youth Crime Prevention Program offers activities and workshops that help youth build resilience, strengthen critical thinking, and develop problem-solving and decision-making skills. Our program is proudly supported by the Office of the State Attorney General in partnership with the Florida Urban Leagues' coalition.
